About the Role We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Payroll Officer to join our supportive and close knit.

This is an ideal role for an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with others on a variety of work.

The primary function of this role is to provide support with end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing.


Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be working closely with a diverse finance team, HR department and the wider business.


This role is offered as a permanent full-time position, however flexible working hours as well as part-time hours will be considered.


Key responsibilities include:

Assistingwith end to end payroll processing Assistingwith managing shared Payroll email inbox Respond to staff queries within agreed timeframes Assistancewith calculation and payment of all statutory obligations including Superannuation, Payroll taxes, Workcover and other Governmentagencies Assistwith employee payroll set up, terminations, salary changes, superannuationand any payroll variations Provideback up and run payroll when Payroll Manager is on leave Conductpay reviews and other internal audits Ad hocpayroll reporting as required About you Strongattention to detail and accurate data entry skills Enjoyworking in a team environment Previousexperience within Payroll Experienceusing Chris 21 is desirable but not essential A keeninterest in process improvement is desirable Goodlevel experience with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
