About the Role

The Manager, School Financial Resourcing, reports to the Director, School Financial Resourcing, Financial Strategy and Advice, Finance, Procurement and Facilities Division.


You will have responsibility for, but not be limited to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the department's School Based Salaries budget and associated costing methodologies, based on interpretation and understanding of workforce management and industrial relations policies impacting on the department's workforce.
  • Lead the activities associated with the administration of appropriations and allowances to state and nonstate schools, parents and other external organisations.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders, clients and staff to identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve the services, information and tools provided by School Financial Resourcing.
  • Provide analysis and advice on organisational and business unit financial and budgetary performance including input into the department's monthly business report.
