Job DescriptionAbout the roleBrisbane Girls Grammar School welcomes applications for a School Grounds and Facilities Officer. This full-time, ongoing position is situated at the School's Spring Hill campus.
This is a hands-on role that supports the day-to-day activities across the School, with a variety of tasks that include:working as part of a team to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment throughout the School campussetting up classrooms and event spaces for School functions, events and external hiring (including assemblies and exams)delivering sporting equipment out to the sports fieldsgeneral cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds, in conjunction with cleaning staff, during term breaks (e.g.
You will require the following:
physical fitness and ability to perform general maintenance tasksknowledge of grounds and building maintenancethe ability to perform tasks following health and safety regulations and proceduresa current Car (Class C) Queensland Drivers Licensethe ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
