As a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will assist in preparation and serving of meals to our residents at mecwacare Elstoft House, a 9- bed facility.

Your strong team focus aligned with ability to prioritise tasks in the kitchen will make you successful in this fast-paced role.

Joining the team at Elstoft House you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team.

What you bring:

  • Certificate in

Food Handling:
HLTFS207C.

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of food for large groups.
  • Ability to provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and complete documentation in accordance with Food Safety Plan requirements.
  • Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
  • Proactive and dedicated approach to position.

Desirable:

  • Aged Care experience.
