What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Administration Officer to join the team at Nepean Hospital.
In this role you will provide access to high quality, safe and timely health care is critical for patients, carers and staff.
Nepean Hospital has identified several opportunities to improve patient care services and has launched a Whole of Health (WoH) Program focused on improving patient access and flow.
The Whole of Health Program (WoH) Officer will work with the WoH Program Improvement Team to implement the Nepean Hospital Access & Flow Improvement Plan.
The primary purpose for the role is to provide effective project management support enabling activities to be documented, scheduled and completed by required timeframes.
Communicate effectively and empathetically with all levels of staff and act as the main point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders including clinicians, nursing and allied health staff.
Manage high volumes of work and coordinate the completion of multiple complex tasks and projects with mínimal supervision.An eligibility list may be created for future vacancies.

Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- High level organisational and time management skills with an ability to effectively set priorities, meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility and show initiative. Ability to write reports, documents and correspondence, including drafting complex correspondence for senior officers, accurately and clearly.
- Welldeveloped interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
- Ability to investigate or evaluate legislation, regulations, instructions or procedural guidelines relevant to the tasks and responsibilities.
