We are looking for a passionate purchasing officer to join our Visy Boxes & More Purchasing Team on a full-time permanent basis.

In this role, you will directly report to Purchasing Team leader and work collaboratively with the team to support our key business stakeholders.

This role can be located at any of our sites in either New South Wales, Victoria or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist the end-to-end process of purchasing orders (PO) management
  • Collate and analyse supplier data, as required, to assist in improving contracts and relationships with suppliers
  • Purchase Orders maintenance and administration for multiple sites in SAP as required
  • Support the planning/forecasting for potential purchasing orders and quotes
  • Liaise with internal key stakeholders to develop an understanding of business requirements, timely procurement requirements
  • Manage import orders and other shipment related coordination
  • Provide adhoc support to our business stakeholders as required to ensure delivery of business plans aligned with their expectations

Some desired skills that you will bring to the team:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Solid prior experience in a similar role within a fastpaced warehousing/ logistics/ manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
  • ERP experience essential, SAP highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • A high level of accuracy in all activities as you remain calm under pressure.
  • Be a highly motivated, driven and organized individual who masters the art of prioritizing
