What to expect from this role?
Linfox Intermodal is currently in search of a skilled transport allocator to join our Willawong, QLD team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in meeting deadlines efficiently and effectively. Your impeccable attention to detail, organizational prowess, and multitasking abilities will be instrumental in tasks such as allocation, route planning, and dispatching of deliveries. We offer a 4-day-on, 4-day-off roster with working hours from 3 PM to 3 AM. Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicating with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear guidance and fostering positive relationships
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records pertaining to manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance
- Keeping open lines of communication with customers to ensure they are well-informed about their scheduled deliveries and any updates
- Monitoring fleet service schedules and ensuring detailed handovers to the morning shift team daily
