We are seeking an experienced Receptionist on a 12-month parental leave contract.


Bartier Perry considers the role of Receptionist to be a very important one, for in most cases, the Receptionist is the first business contact that a client, incoming caller or visitor will meet.


We are looking for a
Receptionist
who shares the same high standards of client service as the business to work from 8.

30am

  • 5.00pm** each day. (The shifts may change from time to time.)

This position involves:

  • Answering incoming calls & directing all telephone enquiries accordingly
  • Coordinating client/visitor arrivals
  • Managing all aspects of reception
  • Coordination of the meeting rooms setting up and cleaning meeting rooms after meetings have finished
  • Organising catering for meeting and other small events
  • Courier organisation & delivery processing
  • Assisting with typing and WP overflow as required
  • General information support to all staff
  • Offering refreshments and then making tea, coffee or water for guests
  • Ensuring the meeting rooms are kept to a high standard and are well stocked with pens, paper, whiteboard markers or other stationery items
  • Assisting with client functions as required

About you


You will be a mature minded, proactive team plater who has attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.


You will need to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working as a Corporate Receptionist is ideal (within either Legal or professional services)
  • Outstanding customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Professional presentation
  • An approachable and friendly manner
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to business needs
  • Enthusiasm and motivation
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, good keyboard skills and accuracy
  • High personal ethics, integrity and strong client focus
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
