Our Branch manages the planning, procurement, leasing and management of office and residential accommodation in Australia and overseas.

This includes (but is not limited to) capital works, staff accommodation, airport and seaport leasing, operational properties, facilities management, spatial management, and contract management arrangements.

Duties and responsibilities
Work order management including logging, review and escalation of unresolved work orders.
Scheduling of contractor attendances and contractor oversight.
Undertake quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance.
Management of site commissioning and decommissioning activities.
Develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships with contractors, business areas, and stakeholders.
Additional information
Previous experience in property management, leasing, a trades background or contract management would be well regarded but not necessary.
You'll build your skills in time.

A flexible work environment is offered however facilities staff are required to maintain properties and we can't do this from home.

We offer our experienced staff the ability to work two days at home and three in the office but if there are operational requirements then work in the office will increase at periods of high tempo.

We offer staff the use of a work car to get to various sites.
You'll be part of a national team that reports to a director in Canberra.
We have vacancies currently in VIC, NSW and SA.
We are establishing merit pools to draw from should positions become available in other regions.

  • You're working with your team members on a building relocation with a two week time frame.

You're a part of a team that is relocating multiple business areas to numerous buildings while a fit out is being done.

One of these buildings has not been set up as an office base previously.
What are the sorts of things you need to consider carrying out during this period?
You are not required to have existing knowledge of facilities management when preparing your answers to these question.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting(AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
