Key Accountabilities:

  • Bequest payments (cheque / EFT / shares) are processed and receipted daily in accordance with Finance procedures.
  • An exemplary audit trail is maintained in relation to the income received from bequests.
  • All relevant information is obtained from the solicitor and/or executor, including the Grant of Probate
  • Estates are progressed to a timely distribution
  • Standard affidavits and deeds are drafted and prepared for execution as required.
  • Relevant stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally are alerted when income is received
  • Finance is notified of specific requests in Wills to ensure income is utilised as directed and supported through documentation
  • The bequestor Honour Wall is prepared and installed each year

Essential Experience:

  • Legal or estate administration experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and manage relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise tasks
  • Tact and an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Aptitude in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
  • Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail
