THE OPPORTUNITY:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with department managers to fill vacant positions
  • Prepare internal and external job advertisements,
  • Ensure all satisfactory preemployment checks are met, including reference checks
  • Negotiate and issue offers of employment
  • Maintain oversight of the mobilisation and onboarding process to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Review and maintain position descriptions,
  • Proactively communicate to Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
  • Issue weekly recruitment reports and updates

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the mining industry
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of mining operation recruitment.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a cando approach
  • Experience working with onboarding and mobilisation functions.
  • Ability to work in a facepaced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Experience with the recruitment system PageUp is highly regarded.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Obtain a strong customerservice focus.
