EOI - Head of Department (Curriculum) - Pallara State School Metropolitan South Region, Early Childhood and State Schools Division Are you are interested in supporting strategic initiatives as a Head of Department (Curriculum) that contribute to departmental commitments, shaping the future for our children and young people?Pallara State School are looking for someone who is dynamic, eager tolearn and push the envelope when it comes to achieving results and delivering outcomes for our stakeholders.
This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis from 08 July 2024 until 13 September 2024, unless otherwise determined; and will require a solidunderstanding of the V9 English Curriculum and evidence based reading practices.
Pallara State School is a school of 1300 students and is still rapidly growing.This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About the Role Responsibilities include:
Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.
You will work within the following areas:
Arts Music Science About You:
Strong communicator, great time management, previous experience relevant to the role.
A team player who works well in large teams and can manage up effectively.
