We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at the Scoresby office in Melbourne East.
Responsibilities: Seize the opportunity to spearhead exciting mobile projects involving civil construction, 4G, 5G, small cells, IBC, and electrical work. Collaborate with a skilled team of technicians, riggers and internal crews.
What you'll do:
- Become a quotation mastermind, crafting winning proposals for clients using our schedule of rates.
- Be a guardian of safety and standards, ensuring strict adherence to client specifications, industry guidelines, and HSE protocols.
- Orchestrate project success using the right delivery methodology, tailoring it to each project's unique needs.
- Become the client's champion, proactively building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Communicate like a pro, keeping all stakeholders informed through clear change management documents and regular status reports.
- Master of risk management, proactively identify and mitigate potential challenges to keep projects on track.
- Deliver on time, every time, meeting budget, scope, and deadline goals with laser focus.
- Become a scheduling guru, developing, managing, and analysing project schedules to ensure smooth execution.
Who you are:
- A champion of HSE work practices, ensuring everyone goes home safely.
- Someone with strong telecommunications industry experience, with solid knowledge of construction and maintenance activities (preferably experience working on nbn programs)
- Experienced in managing teams within a construction or telecommunications environment.
- An expert in active listening and building rapport with team members, clients, and project managers.
- A problem-solver, with proficiency in the identification of faults and implementing corrective action where necessary to ensure the highest levels of service are maintained.
- Someone who masterfully manages their time, juggling deadlines with ease.
- A well-versed professional, with a solid knowledge in the use and selection of the correct, specific equipment for telecommunication maintenance and break-fix activities, depending on the project requirements.
- A team player with a collaborative spirit, readily contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
What you'll bring:
- Full Australian work rights (essential)
- 3+ years of verifiable experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry (essential)
- Possession of a valid White Card for construction safety (essential)
- Field experience as a Telco Technician, Rigger or Engineer (desired)
- Network roll-out experience (desired)
- PMBOK methodology training or qualifications (desired)
