AE Capital is looking for an experienced trader to join our team as we embark on an exciting new growth phase.

As a Senior Trader at AE Capital, you will leverage your domain trading expertise & market knowledge to work collaboratively with all areas of the business to identify new opportunities and contribute to the predictive models and improve our systematic trading methodology.

If you have a proven track record of performance trading real money in an electronic trading environment, then this is an opportunity not to be missed.

About You:
You will need to be articulate, intelligent, naturally inquisitive, and thrive in environments that encourage new ideas, value thought leadership and recognise personal and team contribution.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • A deep knowledge of electronic trading with a proven track record of profitable performance (Futures, FX and/or Equities preferred).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a trading role in a bank, hedge fund, asset manager or proprietary trading firm (experience in quantitative/systematic trading is preferred but not required).
  • A high-level of initiative and self-motivation
  • A history of successfully managing multiple initiatives with demonstrated team leadership abilities – e.g. hiring, mentoring, and/or training.
  • A strong understanding of market microstructure and wider macro factors driving markets
