Job Description Summary

A core value of the Salvation Army is to support the basic needs of individuals experiencing disadvantages and challenges.

The Food Collection volunteer provides support in collecting donated items from suppliers and/or unloading trucks, checking and placing food stock on shelves, making food packs ready and providing quality customer service.

o Time commitment - Tuesdays & Sundays 10.30am pm

o Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate TSA vehicle to complete daily schedules of pickups and deliveries
  • Unload the truck, unpack boxes and stock shelves and fridge as requested
o Qualifications/Skills required/desired

  • A current C Class drivers licence is required
  • Experience driving a small van and customer service experience preferred
