Direct Account Manager

Southern Cross Austereo is a prominent media entertainment company in Australia, known for LiSTNR, the Triple M & HIT network. Our goal is to Entertain, Inform & Inspire Australians Anytime, Anywhere.

We introduced LiSTNR, an exclusive Audio-On-Demand platform featuring the Hit & Triple M networks, 25 music stations, and numerous podcasts. LiSTNR stands as Australia's top podcast network with over 8 million monthly listeners.

We are looking for a Direct & Independent Agency Account Manager to join our Sales team in Sydney. You will collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenue growth by leveraging SCA's product suite including LiSTNR, SoundCloud, Hit, and Triple M networks to meet monthly targets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by tailoring presentations to client needs and maximizing revenue
  • Proactively seek new clients and business opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned client portfolio
  • Provide accurate forecasts to budgets and goals
  • Expand client portfolio within Independent Agencies and Direct businesses
  • Identify revenue opportunities by understanding client challenges and providing solutions
  • Establish clear goals and plans for key accounts in line with account management principles
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Continually develop expertise in SCA products, marketing, and competitive landscape
  • Organize priorities effectively to achieve revenue goals

Experience we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience with proven results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of the media market
  • Ability and drive to generate new business opportunities
  • Passion for building client relationships and sales
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the media industry
