The Role:


Reporting to the Manager Program Delivery, the Program Delivery Lead is responsible for the proactive monitoring in the delivery of the IT Program, of the planned activities and solutions are delivered in line with agreed budgets, schedules and outcomes.

In this role, you will monitor adherence to governance standards and processes and the realisation of projected benefits.

Furthermore, you will provide support to the IT Project Managers, assisting with the resolution of issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.


This will be achieved through:

  • Proactively monitoring overall progress of projects to ensure delivery is in line with approved scope, budget, schedule, risk and resources
  • Contributing to the planning of IT Program across domains to meet agreed outcomes
  • Monitoring delivery across IT Program Management is adhering to defined governance and control arrangements
  • Monitoring project budgets, schedules, scope and reporting
  • Project Management of minor projects
  • Internal, external and vendor stakeholder management

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in project delivery/ governance or project coordination
  • Good understanding of project management including financial tracking, project tracking, project scheduling and project timing
  • Understanding and practical experience of project management methodologies
  • Excellent understanding of service management delivery methodology, frameworks and best practice
  • Experience in performance management of external IT service providers and suppliers
  • Knowledge and experience working in the ITIL framework
  • Ability to communicate effectively between technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt and reprioritize tasks in response to changing circumstances
  • Experience in creating reports and delivering presentations
Your excellent in communication, stakeholder management skills and ability to prioritise tasks will be keys to this role.
