The Regulatory Program Manager will lead delivery of high-quality, risk based regulatory operations services for the DEECA Barwon South West Region.

This is a key leadership role in delivering Conservation Regulator's regulatory services to benefit the Victorian community.

This role includes developing and implementing schedules of work and operations plans that reflect regional and state-wide priorities and resource availability.

The purpose of this role is to lead service excellence in building the capacity, capability and culture of regional and district personnel to provide a range of compliance services that addresses risk to the Department's objectives and environmental assets valued by the community
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated operational experience leading and conducting investigations in a regulatory or enforcement environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of conservation regulatory legislation, policy and the planning and delivery of compliance operations.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is within Barwon South West Region.
