"Meinhardt has recently been awarded a contract to provide Program Management services for a multi-site compliance program covering over 100 sites throughout Victoria. We are currently seeking a Project Manager or similarly qualified professional with experience managing minor works multi-site programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for the procurement and management of several principal design consultants including program-level financial, commercial and risk management. The Program Manager will need to review the project brief and determine sub-consultant requirements that need to be included in the principal design consultant procurement process. The principal design consultant will be responsible for engaging all the necessary sub-consultants to complete the services. Coordination and management of the individual sites will be the responsibility of the principal design consultant not the Program Manager".

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with engineers, project teams, authorities, and clients (where applicable) and assist in maintaining client relationships while ensuring that attendance at resource meetings, and regular feedback/project status updates to Project Leaders.
  • Preparation of reports using agreed templates for review prior to issue to client.
  • Assist in the preparation of fee proposals and contracts where appropriate to ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Coordination of client and internal design meetings and other Project Management meetings.
  • Tender administration including compiling tender and contract documents, tender assessment, and contractor recommendations together with the contract superintendent required.
  • Constantly assess the project method and propose and implement improvements to working practices where appropriate.
  • Work actively with the senior management team to grow and develop business opportunities.
  • Ensure all necessary internal administration procedures are carried out to achieve efficient operations and proper financial management of the project portfolio including the development of project management procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in previously successfully delivering commercial/construction projects or multi-site programs of work.
  • Qualification in a project management-related discipline is desirable and/or substantial relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to deliver results within a large team and the ability to work independently.
  • Health and Safety knowledge as it applies to the Australian construction industry.
  • Ability to respond to changing circumstances and to provide innovative solutions to various issues.
  • Ability to recognise, acknowledge and communicate success in all of our activities at a companywide, team and individual level.
  • Have open communication and provide and receive feedback in a professional manner.
