Reporting to a member of the executive management team you will lead a team of procurement professionals whilst providing guidance to others in the business involved in the procurement process to ensure the business achieves maximum value, efficiency and effectiveness from procurement activities through,

  • Leading, guiding and mentoring personnel involved in procurement activities,
  • Monitoring of procurement activities to identify areas for improvement and implementing improvements.
  • Development and implantation of procurement strategies,
  • Consolidation and standardisation of procurement activities,
  • Reporting on business procurement activities,
  • Negotiating supply agreements and contracts,
  • Researching new and improved products and services which can be utilised by the business.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • 7+ years experience in a similar role
