Your responsibilities will include:

  • As a Senior ALIS Administrator working within the IMAS Program you will manage and maintain the system administration services on the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Acceptance Test Environments (ATEs) for the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA), which will include providing effective guidance and mentoring to Systems Administrators within the team.
  • Day to day duties include:
  • Conduct administration functions on the Information Systems to ensure system integrity and availability to users.
  • Manage classified and sensitive data elements (in accordance with program security policy).
  • Maintain Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) system administration to include disaster recovery, backup/archiving of data and data integrity.
  • Install Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) on the appropriate ALIS units at the site.
  • Provide expert advice for customer inquiries on system use and issues.
  • Deliver on the job training and knowledge transfer to other Lockheed Martin employees and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) ALIS Administrators.

About you:

  • Essential
  • Tertiary qualifications (typically Information Technology), and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Extensive experience in system administration, hardware and software management, release management, configuration management, and incident management.
  • Experience using MS Windows Server 2012; MS Active Directory; MS Windows 10; Java 7; Hyper V; and Splunk software.
  • Knowledge of Windows audit policy and ability to manually audit security logs to ensure compliance with security policy.
Desirable

  • Demonstrated experience working within a project environment (preferably in the Defence industry).
  • Experience providing effective guidance, mentoring, and training to other employees.
  • Oracle.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a project environment (preferably in the Defence industry) highly desirable.
