We are looking for a suitably qualified
Administration Officer to join the team.

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely and accurate preparation of accounts and processes for the collection of monies for families using Glenorchy City Council Child Care Centres.


The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated high standard of computer skills using Microsoft Office including word processing, Excel spreadsheets, Publisher and proficient in record keeping.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services and functions relevant to the key duties of the position.
  • Proven experience in account management, reconciliations, and other administrative procedures, including EFTPOS.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decisionmaking abilities, with the ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality whilst recommending workable solutions.

Qualifications required:

  • Completed either a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Business (Administration).

Position Hours:
Part-time: 20 hours per week

Salary range:
$60,863.65 to $67,127.70, pro-rata, plus superannuation
