We are looking for a suitably qualified
Facilities Officer to join the team.

You will assist with the maintenance and associated administrative activities for all Glenorchy City Council Venues, facilities and buildings including Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) and all other sporting and cultural facilities; ensuring all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner whilst achieving set service delivery standards.


The successful applicant will have:

  • Working knowledge of the National Construction Code and associated Standards and legislation with a sound understanding of relevant WH&S legislation.
  • Experience with facilities maintenance and repairs with the proven ability to plan, manage and prioritise multiple projects/tasks while meeting operational deadlines within agreed timeframe, budget and agreed service levels.
  • Proven ability to develop, maintain cooperative working relationships within a client focused environment, with experience in responding to internal and external customer enquiries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to negotiate, persuade and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications required:

  • Relevant Trade qualification and relevant experience within the Construction industry.

Position Hours:
Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight.

Salary range:
$70,655.83 to $79,520.99 plus superannuation
