About the role
How do we mathematically optimise groundwater?
How do we reach net zero emissions in a water management environment demanding more energy?
These are questions that our Data & Analytics team are currently working on. Join us on our journey to become a Smart Utility and help them find the answer.
The primary goal of the DataOps team is to help business intelligence, data science, advanced analytics and data governance teams across the business be more effective and productive with their data and analytics initiatives.
This is achieved through a high-quality ecosystem of data, systems, tools and standards that leverage the intersection of modern software engineering, DevOps, data science and data engineering practices.
You'll be part of a team that plays a vital role that enables Water Corporation to support future generations.Help us work towards our sustainability goals by building highly automated, reliable and hyper productive end to end organisational systems, ensuring teams have the data and supporting analytics capabilities they need.

What the role will involve
You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technology.
We have put significant investment into bringing in the latest cloud technologies for big data, IoT, data science and machine learning.
A fantastic opportunity to develop, learn and work with some of the most talented data engineers and data scientist in WA on big and important challenges that matter to Western Australians.
The convergence of IT and OT will be a mission critical play for us as we bring together a rapidly growing portfolio of IoT data, business intelligence and machine learning capabilities.

Key skills and experience
You'll have an IT related degree and preferably Computer Science or Information Systems.
It will be your experience with manipulating and analysing data with Python and SQL in a cloud-native data platform that will ensure success in this role.
You'll have a strong system thinking mindset, automating everything at scale and you loving data and coding.Apply:
