About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join Rio Tinto???s Rail Engineering department. This role is based in Perth, with occasional travel to site.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and manage end-to-end data pipelines.
- Ensure the quality, and reliability of data.
- Design and implement tools and reports to enhance data insights.
- Provide insights to improve engineering and planning processes.
- Handle the complete lifecycle of your tasks from start to finish.
- Cover requirements elicitation, development, and version control.
- Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar
- Proficiency in data engineering and analytics
- Strong experience with Python and SQL
- Understanding of version control
- Experienced with data visualisation such as PowerBi and data profiling as part of EDA
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- C Class Drivers Licence
