OUR CLIENT:
We are partnering with a well-entrusted Austrlaian building company with an immediate need for a Graphic Designer.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Title: Graphic Designer
Location: East Melbourne - multiple WFH days/week
6-week temp contract
Start date: Immediately
Salary: $375 - $425/day + super

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design & Development:
    • Create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website content, email campaigns, and advertisements.
    • Develop and maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Collaborative Projects:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design solutions that align with marketing strategies and goals.
    • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to create presentations, sales collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Content Management:
    • Manage and update the company's digital assets, including website graphics and social media content.
    • Ensure all designs are aligned with current trends and company standards.
  • Brand Development:
    • Assist in the development and execution of branding initiatives, including the creation of logos, brand guidelines, and other visual identity elements.
    • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creative projects.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the real estate or home building industry.
  • Knowledge of web design and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and motion graphics.
