About the Role:

As a Hub Buyer, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient procurement services to the organisation. You will work independently and as part of a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise, manage, and maintain purchase orders for the organisation.
  • Maintain profiles on the supplier portal and address queries promptly.
  • Update information on the selfservice procurement catalogue.
  • Generate and present spend analysis reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Implement and maintain risk management practices.

About You:

  • Strong ability to cooperate with team members, clients, and department staff.
  • Proficiency in administrative processes, Microsoft Office Suite, and finance systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet packages.
  • Previous experience in data collection and data migration.
  • Preferred experience in Local Government or municipal knowledge.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders in a busy environment, either face to face or over the phone.
