W Sydney, opening in Darling Harbour, 12 October 2023, is now casting for Welcome Supervisors to lead our Whatever/Whenever and Welcome operations and guest services team.

Reporting to the Welcome Manager this integral role provides a high level of service to guests experience and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the pre-opening efforts of the world's largest W Hotel, with 588 rooms, suites and studios.

Overall, the Welcome Supervisor should be able to balance the needs of their team, their guests, and the business itself, while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.

This requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep local understanding of the guest journey.

JOB SUMMARY
Based at the Welcome Desk and responsible for managing and supervising Welcome and Whatever/Whenever teams.

Drives W's Whatever Whenever culture, Bonvoy loyalty program, VIP guests, groups in house, training and development of talent and supports operations at the Welcome Desk.

Experience with Opera PMS is ideal.

As an integral part of the Rooms team, directs and works with all areas of the Hotel's Talent and department heads.

Strives to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction and maximize the guest satisfaction of the department. Will work a rotating fortnightly roster. A guest services agent currently performing supervisory higher duties within Marriott hotels is desirable.
