An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Relationship Manager to develop the development finance team within a major financial institution. This full-time permanent position is based in Sydney, with occasional interstate travel to Brisbane.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be at the forefront of establishing a new portfolio that requires contribution to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan in pursuit of specific customer, people, risk, and financial outcomes. You will be provisioning tailored lending solutions for experienced real estate developers operating in the greater Sydney metropolitan area. Your role will involve leading the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, conducting thorough due diligence, managing approval processes, fostering stakeholder relationships, providing leadership to junior team members, and representing the organisation within the industry.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Relationship Manager role brings extensive experience from commercial banking or non-bank financial institutions or real estate finance. With over 10 years in the field and at least 5 years directly leading real estate finance transactions, you are well-versed in residential and commercial development. Your proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, negotiation combined with excellent communication skills make you adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences. Your strong organisational skills allow you to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining a customer-centric focus. You are capable of driving business strategies, fostering team growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.


• 10+ years of experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance

• 5+ years direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development

• Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
