This highly visible role reports directly to the organisation's CIO and steering committee. It involves managing the organisation's technology ecosystem, including internal systems and vendor management, through governance, security, and risk management.
This role will lead the Cyber Uplift Program to enhance the organisation's cybersecurity posture and resilience.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supervise the design, implementation, and upkeep of the organisation's (IT/OT) cybersecurity architecture.
- Formulate and execute technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments to pinpoint cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Devise cybersecurity strategies congruent with organizational goals.
- Evaluate third-party vendors, suppliers, and partners for cybersecurity risks and compliance.
- Institute risk mitigation strategies and controls for third-party associations.
- Create materials and resources for training, cyber-attack simulations, cybersecurity awareness, and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities.
- Monitor regulatory alterations and industry standards regarding technology governance and cybersecurity.
- Develop and enact incident response plans to efficiently detect, address, and recover from cybersecurity incidents like data breaches, malware infections, and cyber-attacks.
- Communicate cybersecurity risks and recommendations to senior management and board members.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in technology governance, cybersecurity, and third-party risk management roles, focusing on program management and strategic planning.
- Expertise across relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards related to technology governance, cybersecurity, and third-party risk management.
- Strong vendor management experience.
- Expertise in formulating and executing cybersecurity strategies to protect technology assets against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
