About the Role


Our talented
Social Media Coordinator plays an important role in the digital communications team, by focussing on campaigns that help to increase engagement across MLA's social media channels.

The Coordinator will also increase stakeholder engagement by providing engaging and timely content for MLA's R&D and marketing services.

_Our ideal Social Media Coordinator will need to:_

  • Coordinate, schedule and publish postings on MLA's corporate social media accounts.
  • Moderate and respond to social media enquiries in accordance with established social media governance guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and track emerging and ongoing social media issues.
  • Manage and facilitate social media of MLA's annual general meeting and key corporate events.
  • Provide specialist advice and contribute to MLA's delivery of support services, professional development and social media training program. Actively maintain and optimise social media channels and publishing practices, identifying new trends and opportunities to increase engagement.
  • Lead the design and implementation of social media campaigns, as required.
  • Compile weekly and quarterly analytics and insights reports (including recommendations) related to social media to inform the content team about ways to increase engagement with MLA's content.
