Role Description

Applications are warmly invited from a suitable qualified persons for the full-time teaching position, with the first 2 years incorporating a Deputy Principal and Educational Leadership and Administrative Role to commence on Monday the 29th of January 2024.

Year Level/Subject:
This is an ongoing appointment to the school with a two-year appointment as Deputy Principal.

Applicants must be able to:

• Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
• Have experience in a Leadership role in a school with a post graduate qualification.
• Have a strong personal faith commitment and the ability to promote and enhance the Catholic Identity of the school.
• Possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, teambased approach to teaching and learning.
• Contribute as a member of the Leadership Team.
• Develop teacher skills in effective teaching to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students.
• Lead in the use of data to inform teaching.
• Have the ability to inspire and encourage teachers and students with a love of learning.
• Demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning, teaching, and assessment.
• Maintain a professional knowledge of contemporary practices.
• Facilitate professional learning for staff.
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Be committed to personal and professional growth.
