Join an esteemed Australian Government agency who is seeking experienced APS6 Administration Officers or Administration Team Leaders to lead and deliver operational and business outcomes.


Position Overview:

You will work independently, exercise initiative and judgement, and provide detailed administration and professional advice. You may also contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate work, manage resources, and evaluate business outcomes.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks to expected standards.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced staff.
  • Provide expert administration and professional advice.
  • Engage and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Foster effective relationships and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify and resolve problems, implementing alternative actions.
  • Develop and implement documentation to support business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in administration, with leadership abilities for Team Leader roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and program management (Team Leader roles).
  • Autonomy, initiative, and judgement.
  • Capability in workload allocation and team development.
  • Stakeholder engagement and problemsolving skills.
  • Commitment to selfimprovement and professional growth.
