Legal Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant who will support this firms office procedures and ensure their administrative and operational activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.
Your duties will include file and diary management, billing, filing/archiving, organising company records, creation and edit of correspondence and documents, and providing administrative support to their Managing Director and multiple Fee Earners.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine enthusiasm for working in the legal profession, who is pro-active, with maturity and initiative.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Providing support to the Director with EA related tasks
- Diary management
- Editing and formatting a range of correspondence and legal documentation
- Regularly meeting with the team to discuss management and administrative responsibilities
- Liaising with clients
- Organising meetings
- Booking and setting up meeting rooms
- File management, including ensuring files are managed within file management guidelines of their Quality Assured firm
- Client contact and management
- Fortnightly Billing
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Legal Assistant or experience managing Senior fee earners
- Highly organised
- Works well under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment
- Accurate typing and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft systems including Teams
- Excellent communication skills and client service skills
- Enjoy working a part of a team, and learning new skills, when required
- Able to think outside the box and use initiative
- Able to juggle conflicting deadlines and support a team of Fee Earners
