We are seeking a Weekend Chef for an Aged Care facility in Belmont - in the outer Newcastle area.

The Role:

Saturday & Sunday
9am - 5:30pm
$30 per hour + loadings
76 Bed facility

You will work with your team to ensure residents' dietary needs are met with varied and nutritious food.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting food for the residents
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude

About You:

  • Australian citizen or resident with full work rights
  • Experience as a Chef in Aged Care
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills

The successful candidate must have a current flu vaccine and be covid vaccinated. You will also be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check (Police Check) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
