About the School:
Wavell State High School is a large high school of 1700 students located in the leafy suburb of Wavell Heights.
About the Role:
The Administrative Officer in our school is the first point of contact for all visitors, parents and contractors.
You will contribute to the effective and efficient management of the school by providing relevant and timely service to the community and staff of Wavell State High School.
The work day is 7:30 - 4:00pm with the ability to work up time to have the school holidays off.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to Day telephone and counter enquiries
- Typing and data entry
- Basic HR duties including checking timesheets, entering leave etc
- Various administrative duties under the direction of the Business Manager
Highly Desirable:
- Excellent communicator
- Have experience in a Administrative Officer/Customer Service role
Mandatory Requirements:
- The sucessful canditate must have or be able to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card
- Will need to undergo a Criminal History Check
