15 Hrs contact time between 9am and 3pm, 3.5 Hrs non contact time, with additional paid hours for staff meetings.


Description
We are seeking applicants for our 3 and 4-year-old group program.

These positions are for two part-time diploma-qualified educators to join our experienced teacher and co-educator in one of our 4-year-old groups and the 3-year-old group with up to 29 children.

The applicant will demonstrate experience in play-based programs and a strong ability to work with children with a diverse range of abilities.

We offer a salary based on the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA) (40 weeks worked and 52 weeks paid), regular professional development opportunities, and a collaborative and professional working environment.


Qualifications

  • Hold an approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood,
    WWCC
  • Be able to support the teacher in planning and implementing the program and be confident in taking observations of children's learning and development.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the EYLF.
- a strong understanding and the capacity to work with children with a diverse range of abilities.

  • Have a sound understanding of playbased pedagogy.
  • Work and manage time effectively with mínimal supervision.
  • Have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
  • Work in a professional manner at all times and ensure that the service meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law (National Law), Education and Care Services National Regulations (Regulations), relevant curriculum framework, the Quality Improvement Plan, and policies and procedures of the service.
