As we expand our operations in Newcastle, NSW, we are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators and Dozer Operators to join our dynamic team.


Position:
Dump Truck Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company protocols and industry standards.
  • Transport materials, such as earth, rocks, gravel, and other construction materials, to designated locations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on dump trucks to ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times to minimize risks and accidents.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth operations onsite.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Dump Truck Operator in a construction or mining environment.
  • Valid driver's license and relevant certifications for operating heavy machinery.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Position:
Dozer Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks such as grading, leveling, and excavating.
  • Follow project specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise work.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of dozers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Dozer Operator in the construction or mining industry.
  • Proficiency in operating bulldozers and other heavy machinery.
  • Knowledge of grading and leveling techniques.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Types:

Salary:
$ $37.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates

Experience:

  • Dump truck: 1 year (preferred)
  • Dozer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (preferred)
