The Role

The position of a Senior Actuarial Advisor involves leveraging a deep understanding of actuarial techniques and the pricing landscape to design, propose, and execute pricing solutions. Operating within the Model Activate & Analytics unit of the Pricing & Analytics Department, this role collaborates closely with pricing, business, and technology experts to enhance customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate pricing recommendations and proposals to closely align pricing strategy with business objectives
  • Support Pricing Managers in making necessary pricing recommendations, implementing them, and ensuring accurate monitoring
  • Promote innovation by enhancing existing processes and driving automation
  • Create dashboards and reports tailored to meet business requirements, including report automation. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses for various business segments
  • Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders to cultivate a productive environment and facilitate open communication channels

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Actuarial, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics or Computer Science, among others, is mandatory
  • Advanced analytical prowess in fields like data science, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling
  • Proficiency in conducting statistical analysis and research independently
  • Proficient in R, SAS, and Python; familiarity with other programming languages like SQL is advantageous
  • Experience in handling extensive and intricate datasets
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in actuarial, analytics, or predictive modeling fields
  • At least 2 years of leadership background in spearheading analytical projects
  • Industry exposure in Financial Services, particularly in General Insurance
