The company

Our client is a family owned Newcastle business who have been operating for over 40 years, specialising in manufacturing unique maintenance equipment.

The role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing incoming calls, and assisting with technical enquiries and orders.
  • Providing clarity to customers and colleagues around product details and availability.
  • Providing quotes on products.
  • Nurturing exisiting customer relationships and being a first point of call for their product needs.
  • Following up on quotes and enquiries.
  • Assisting with advertising and attending trade shows as required.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years internal sales experience.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, and phone manner.
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite products, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings. (Desirable)
  • A trade or heavy industry background. (Desirable)
