About the role
We are currently looking for Supervisor to join our team.

In this position you would be responsible for Supervising our teams working on Substations &/ Underground groups working on the United Energy contract.

Key Responsibilities include

• Lead, motivate, mentor and direct your work team to achieve outstanding performance
• Preparation, planning of work packages and ensuring processes, systems and disciplines are in place to assist with the efficient and successful delivery of the works program
• Resolving issues identified by field crews and solving issues that arise through planning and delivery of work items
• Operational decision making, balancing customer service delivery, regulatory and other commercial requirements often within tight or crisis (i.e. emergencies and outages) timeframes and conflicting priorities
• Manage daytoday operational aspects within the work team
• Promote and implement all health and safety strategies, guidelines to ensure workforce compliance and promote a culture of care and concern for our team

About You

The successful applicant will have previous Supervisory experience working within the distribution electrical network in a construction and maintenance environment.

• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to successfully lead a team
• Previous experience working on substation's, cable jointing and underground civil (highly desirable)
• Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
• Strong Fault and Emergency Response experience
• Certificate III Power, Project Management, Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification; Valid Australian drivers licence
