**About the role**

We are currently looking for Supervisor to join our team. In this position you would be responsible for Supervising our teams working on Substations &/ Underground groups working on the United Energy contract.

**Key Responsibilities include**
- Lead, motivate, mentor and direct your work team to achieve outstanding performance
- Preparation, planning of work packages and ensuring processes, systems and disciplines are in place to assist with the efficient and successful delivery of the works program
- Resolving issues identified by field crews and solving issues that arise through planning and delivery of work items
- Operational decision making, balancing customer service delivery, regulatory and other commercial requirements often within tight or crisis (i.e. emergencies and outages) timeframes and conflicting priorities
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects within the work team
- Promote and implement all health and safety strategies, guidelines to ensure workforce compliance and promote a culture of care and concern for our team

**About You**

The successful applicant will have previous Supervisory experience working within the distribution electrical network in a construction and maintenance environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to successfully lead a team
- Previous experience working on substation’s, cable jointing and underground civil (highly desirable)
- Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
- Strong Fault and Emergency Response experience
- Certificate III Power, Project Management, Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualification; Valid Australian drivers licence
