Development and execution of sustainability strategies

Work within the iconic Rocks & Darling Harbour precinct

9 month fixed term contract - 3 days per week

  • We have an opportunity for a Sustainability Manager to join our high performing team working with our major client
  • Place Making NSW. Located at The Rocks, you will play a key role in assisting our client achieve their net zero targets by implementing and overseeing a range of sustainability initiatives across the portfolio.
    Here's a snapshot of your day;
  • Assist with the development of sustainability strategies
  • Engage with facility managers to develop cost effective solutions to reduce energy and water consumption and waste to landfill
  • Assist with technical and commercial aspects of sustainability upgrades and tenant fit out proposals
  • Assist with green leasing requirements
  • Advise on social sustainability initiatives
  • Monitor and advise on legislative changes impacting the client and CBRE
  • Assist with the development and analysis of detailed reporting and statistics
  • Oversee the NABERS rating program for the portfolio
  • Monitor compliance to Commercial Building Disclosure
  • Provide Green Star advice and management where necessary
  • Manage Environmental Risk Factors for minimization of risk to the client, tenants and CBRE

Here are some of the strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful;

  • Previous experience and Qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering or Property
  • Broad knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG principles and sustainability rating and benchmarking schemes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
