The Opportunity:


Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an E&I Technician to provide electrical and instrument maintenance for the Kwinana Waste to Energy Facility (KWtE).

KWtE is Australia's first Waste to Energy facility in the heart of the Kwinana Industrial strip.


As the E&I Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard and ensuring the plant and utilities achieve safe, reliable operation within approved budgets.

You will also be responsible for executing maintenance scheduling and supervising contractors during outage periods.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the facility is maintained as per O&M recommendations and to engineering best practices and standards.
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance and breakdown tasks.
  • Planning site specific scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.
  • Completing defect notifications and defect works.
  • Liaising with operations staff and other maintenance staff.
  • Organising and supervising subcontractors as required.
  • Compliance with the Company's Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
  • Participating in our safety first and continuous improvement culture.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications
  • Western Australian A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • Instrumentation certification, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance of boiler and steam turbine / generator plant and apparatus and/or similar industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proven experience working with a CMMS system
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • WA C class drivers licence
