The Role

Due to the recent award of a long-term ongoing LNG maintenance contract, Ventia is seeking to engage an experienced
P6 Scheduler.

This full-time position will see you Perth based.


This position provides leadership, direction and support for preparation and planning of Start-up / maintenance activities through to implementation of shutdown and major maintenance activities.

To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar role and have extensive SAP & Primavera P6 experience.


Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and re-schedule start-up, production, and maintenance activities within operational areas for the short-term planning horizon
  • 1 to 14 days
  • Liaise with the Startup, Commissioning and Operations planners, Coordinators and Team Leaders to schedule and reschedule activities as required
  • Updating activities and statuses based on information from various sources in both Primavera P6 and SAP PM
  • Planning of work to ensure startup, maintenance and production activities are coordinated and executed safely and efficiently
  • Develops and maintains overall maintenance schedule in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) using Primavera P6 to client expectations
  • Co-Ordination with key sitebased stakeholders to ensure plans are developed in line with Ventia & site requirements
  • Responsible for the preparation and issue of plans, schedules, progress and performance reports in accordance with reporting requirement
  • Monitor and control all planning activities through the planning and execution phase of the maintenance lifecycle
  • Communicate with key stakeholders
  • Participate in workplace risk assessments for complex tasks

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant trade and/or discipline areas
  • Ability to provide guidance & expertise to others
  • Significant experience in Multi Discipline Maintenance planning
  • A strong working knowledge of Primavera P
  • Experienced with SAP PM systemPrometheus Graphical Work Order Scheduling tool experience beneficial
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate large volumes of work concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable effective communication with key stakeholders
  • LNG maintenance operations experience _Not essential but highly regarded_
