We are currently seeking for a Waste Management Coordinator that will be overlooking all the waste management activities involving hydrocarbon, scrap steel, and general waste recycling.
Part of your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide support for all waste management operations to ensure adherence to standards
- Create recycling and waste management strategies
- Oversee Hydrocarbon, scrap steel, general waste, and recycling management across all sites
- Monitor landfill activities to ensure the adoption of sustainable practices.
- Data reporting
- Conducting cost analyses
- Proactively drive initiatives to enhance waste management processes, optimize contractor and execution team efficiency, and implement costsaving measures as appropriate.
In terms of requirements, this role would suit someone that is proficient in SAP and would not mind the frequent travelling around.
You would also have:
- Practical knowledge on the relevant environmental acts regarding waste management practices and principles.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage the activities across multiple sites.
- Experience with contractors as well as managing different internal and external stakeholders.
