About the client:

Located just 45 minutes from the Perth CBD on the picturesque backdrop of the Darling Scarp.

With the Tonkin Highway extending to Mundijong Road as well as a new Byford train station as part of the Metronet project, our Shire is growing at lightning speed.


About the role & duties involved:

  • Processing and monitoring all incoming and outgoing correspondence in a timely manner
  • Creating and maintaining planning and compliance records
  • Coordinating internal comments on planning and compliance issues
  • Create Agendas and Minutes for meetings and ensure calendar invites and agendas are distributed to technical officers weekly
  • Maintain Officer workload spreadsheets
  • Arrange team meetings and prepare Agendas and Minutes
  • Provide confidential administrative services to the Coordinator and Manager of Planning
  • Orders & Requisitions on a daily basis
  • Preparing Requisitions

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experienced and motivated Support Officer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Efficient in Microsoft Suite
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate potential issues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders.
