People2people is excited to partner with a prominent accounting firm that is expanding its team within the Tax Advisory division.

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join this dynamic team.

This role offers a wide range of flexibility including a Permanent part-time or Full-timeposition with the opportunity towork 100% remotelyafter initial training.

Key Responsibilities Complete assigned compliance-based accounting work to meet client needs and contribute to effective practice management.
Review client files and information to prepare the first draft of financial and tax return documentation for management review.
Review and delegate compliance-based accounting and tax tasks to junior staff, ensuring high levels of ownership and responsibility.
Manage clients directly concerning information collection, year-end queries, and delivery of financials and returns.
Work across a variety of entities in different industry sectors.
Who We're Looking For Business/Commerce degree with a major in Accounting
CA/CPA qualification completed or in progress
3-5 years experience in professional services
Strong tax technical knowledge and accounting skills
Proficiency with MYOB, Xero, and other common client accounting software packages
High level of analytical and problem-solving ability
Outstanding attention to detail and time management
Strong verbal and written communication skills Personal Attributes Ability to integrate with a team and collaborate effectively
Ability to work autonomously and proactively
Capacity to perform well under pressure
Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and tailor service accordingly Position Details Permanent part-time or full-time opportunity
100% remote work option, following initial training in the Brisbane office
Two weeks of face-to-face onboarding and training in Brisbane, with potential bi-annual in-office training sessions Requirements Recent relevant experience and qualifications are essential
