Safety & Security Co-worker

You have a passion for customer service and enjoy working as part of a wide and varied team. With great verbal and written communication skills you can greet all visitors with professionalism and care.
You are not afraid of a busy work environment and are able to manage your workload and ad hoc tasks.
With previous experience in administrative tasks, you are also able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and respond to and initiate procedures when required.
In addition to this you have a safety mindset and value a safe work environment and will be someone who can drive this focus in store.
If you do not currently hold either of these, you must be willing and able to obtain one within 3 months of being successful for the position.
Your responsibilities
Working as a Safety & Security Co-worker within the co-worker and visitor reception area, you will act as the face of IKEA to all those who enter our store.
- Be the first point of contact, managing visitors, contractors, and coworker access to and from the store, and providing administrative support with tasks such as audits, incident reporting, database management and filing.
- Monitoring and reviewing CCTV, conducting investigations, responding quickly and efficiently to alarms, and initiating emergency response procedures if required.
- Assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all IKEA and local rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements, in order to protect our assets and the IKEA brand.

This opportunity is Permanent Part-Time, 60hrs/fortnight.
