Disability Support Worker

Currently, we are seeking a support worker In Craigieburn to join our team

Hours include - 5hrs hours per day in the morning and afternoon

9am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)

12pm - 6pm (Monday - Friday)

Saturday 9am-3pm

Sunday 12pm-6pm

We also have a wide range of other shifts available which can be tailored to your availability. This includes; Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends.

Shifts can entail; Personal Care, Community Access, or Capacity Building.

Enthusiasm and high interest to work within the disability sector.

Ability to communicate effectively with both Participants and Management.

An overall Positive and CAN-DO attitude.


An understanding of what it means to support in a way that respects our participants; Rights, Dignity, Values, Beliefs, Cultural Needs and Personal Goals.


POSITION REQUIREMENT

  • Cert III in Individual support or IV in Disability or a relevant qualification* and/or equivalent experience;
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check ( or willing to apply)
  • Working with Children Check (or Willing to apply)
  • Current First Aid training
  • Current CPR training
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Access to a car with comprehensive insurance
  • Smart Phone
  • A positive, reliable, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability;
  • A Digital Copy of the Covid19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation evidence required
